Title: penn conquer 4000 question
Post by: jlnel on June 24, 2012, 07:52:24 PM
does anyone have a clear pic of the lever #34b and if you have a pic of how the whole bail trip area should look like. i think a little nippile has broken off that part, there is a spot on the bail arm that kinda matches but not deep, i cant tell if its broken off in there and i dont have one to look at. the schematic kinda shows the nipple but just wanna be sure. thanks, john.

John,

If you are still looking for info on this, it's yes, the little pivot lever has a nub on each end, facing in opposite directions.
Very difficult bail spring assembly - not one of my favorite designs.
