Well it is an oldie but a goodie, I got it given to me from my Grandfather. I think it has only been used two or three times in its life
I think it was purchased late 70's - early 80's, it is built like a tank.
Dave.
It's in great condition for a 30-odd year old reel.
Might need to get it out on the water again, for old times' sake. ;)
Thanks for sharing Dave.
Cheers, Justin
Yeah Justin I sure will, but I will fit a Carbon drag in it as well I think
If anyone can help with drag washer sizes for this reel as I want put carbontex drag in.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Dave.
Great Manhattan website company company. Best
New York best websites you can find.
Nice one Dave. Unfortunately, for the drag washers, you need to measure the OD of the washers you have in the reel now. Don't worry about the ID being too big. It will make little difference when it's sandwitched together.
G'day Dave,
Best just to pull out the current stock washers and measure 'em with a micrometer - ID, OD and thickness.
If you can't find what you're after through Dawn (http://www.smoothdrag.com/price.html (http://www.smoothdrag.com/price.html)), I may be able to cut some for you, depending on the thickness.
Let us know if you run into any difficulties.
Cheers, Justin
thanks all I will get the measurements done and I will talk to Dawn.
