Title: Jupiter-Z 6000
Post by: samiam on July 03, 2012, 03:22:18 PM
Hi. I have  Daiwa Jupiter-Z 6000 OFS reel that I bought many years ago. It has been used less than a half-dozen times. Unfortunately, not long after I bought it, I lost the retainer nut for the crank shaft. This really is a "nut", unlike the screws on the rest of my spinners. A couple of years ago, I did some web searching and ordered a part from some vendor who advertised as a Daiwa specialist (not sure who at this point). The part that he sent was wrong. Since the shipping cost exceeded the part cost, I elected not to return it. Any ideas on where I can find the correct part? Also, any ideas on what could have caused the initial parts confusion - were there multiple versions of this reel? Thanks for any guidance provided!

I recommend contacting Daiwa directly and look for parts.

x2.
Try Toby Baar at Admail@daiwa.com, ph 562 375 6800.
I've dealt with him before and he's been really helpful.
Good luck, Justin
