i greased the drags not long after i bought it last year and i thought i'd take a peek inside and relube the bearings.
key notes here
*2 CF drags and a stainless disc on the spool on the clicker side of the frame with a sealed drag cover.
*the spool does not shift laterally as you move the drag lever and there is no handle bind
*one pretty stout spring loaded dog
*stainless gears
*1:40 of freespool with the drag preset to 12.5lb strike 25lb full
*daiwa was kind enough to put 3 raised areas inside the sideplate which was perfect to static mag it for pier heaving duties (arranged + - +)
