Had a few hours without a "honeydo" list...actually I had already mowed, picked peaches, made the bed, did the dishes, all that good housework stuff to get ahead of the game and earn the afternoon on the water.
Headed down to the little pond named after the town that was built around it and within 15 minutes of being on the water started off my best session this year! Lost count after more than half a dozen "Nantucket Sleigh-rides" and just had a blast.
One fish had a ballistic blowout on my boat and tossed a few scales around.

Another one coming in close for netting. Most fish were in the mid-teens weight range with one 9# and a few high teen to low 20's.

And BIG BOY of the day....a 23 # golden grassie.

Good work.
I used to catch them behind my house and thought they were an awesome fight on light tackle.
