Title: Trinidad 12 and 14 dog spring
Post by: bschulzjr on July 27, 2012, 08:10:36 PM
Does anyone know if a smaller dog and a modified spring will work on the Trinidad 12 and 14's?  Also, if possible, would this be able to be used on the Curado 300's as well?

This is a piece of a spring from a G2 ball point pen. I installed it in a Trinidad 12. With the right side plate in place it stays put.

Wow, this is an old post.  I have done several TN14s and I believe I have used leaf springs, but I haven't work on one in about 6 months so I cannot be completely sure.

Bryan, what material are you using to make the leaf springs?? Would they look similar to the springs found in a Penn Senator??

It was from Penn.  I think it was from the surfmaster reels.  It was thinner and narrower than the 114H leaf spring.
