Title: Parts for Sambo S25LD
Post by: jtybt on July 28, 2012, 11:56:59 PM
Bought from a friend but it got dinged up by the post office.

Looking for the spool covers, spool and body posts...or maybe just replace the frame and spool.

Need a parts list and prices and if I have to have it shipped from China, and labor.

The box looked like they played soccer with it.

Thanks,
Charlie

Nah, I'm in the bay area, too. My memory is getting bad. Were you running a party boat or did you work outta Glenn's shop

Anyway, Couldn't find anything about the company but there were some indication the parent company might have been Maxel who made many of the parts for the big name mfg's.

I was hoping you might be able to match parts from another reel that might fit. It seems to have similarities to Penn.

I'll run down to Bay Tackle, the closest place with a good variety of reels to compare to.

Claim off the post office and put your money towards a decent reel. Sambo reels don't appear to have much going for them.Good Luck.
