Hi everyone. My name is Bryan and I'm a new member here. I have fished all my life, mostly saltwater and just getting into freshwater. I enjoy fishing, making lures, and making leaders. Shark fishing has become my latest passion and I intend to add reel repair to my knowledge base. Can't wait to talk to everyone and learn.
Hi Bryan, welcome. I'm a salt water fisherman. I took the grandkids to Boca reservoir today to introduce them to fishing, even thouh it was fresh water fishing. Now I know why I don't fresh water fish. It was hot and dry. The bugs ate us alive. Sophie cast out and the top half of her pole went into the deep part of the reservoir. The hooks kept getting in the rocks and we lost several rigs. Last but not the least we did not catch fish. It was a good day with the kids. Welcome again. Dominick
Welcome aboard Bryan.
Hope you enjoy your stay.
All the best, Justin
aloha bryan and thanks for joining us reel nuts
I know what you're saying peachaser about losing tackle. I think thats the real reason that freshwater lures are cheaper than saltwater lures, lol. Thanks for the welcome from everyone.
Aloha Bryan.
Man, you have a great name and you also spell it correctly. ;D
Welcome aboard, and feel free to share, and we are here to help, if we can.

Welcome Bryan
Glad to have you aboard. Where do you shark fish at.
Thanks. I shark fish from the shore all over the NC coast, but mostly at Topsail Island, Hatteras, and Carolina Beach because they seem to have the easiest access for my truck.
I really need to take a few days off the next time I'm out in NC just to meet all of you quality folks out there...and if I'm lucky, a little fishing would be a real bonus.
Bryan. Welcome aboard....
What area of NC are you usually at in NC? There is no shortage of quality fishing here. You can fish for smallies and trout in the west, bass and catfish in the central, and all your offshore fishing at the beach, lol.
Bryan, welcometo Mr. Tani's neighborhood...
Welcome Bryan! No, not the old Bryan, the new Bryan! ;D
Dominick, come up to Podunk. I'll get you on freshwater fish without bugs. I just gotta find a boat. ::)
Welcome Bryan!!!
Ricardo
Thanks for all the welcomes.
Welcome from Southern California..
Hi all, My name is Casey and I am from Hopewell Cape in New Brunswick Canada. I just seen this site referred to in a post on a local fishing site and came in for a look. I fish freshwater for sm bass, chain pickeral, muskies and stripers. My PB is the 45" striper in my avatar, 38.5 lbs caught on a SSR Rapala. I am retired after serving 31 years in the canadian airforce. I currently have 4 abu garcia baitcasters and am probably picking up 2 more this week end which will require some maint/repair. I have never opened a reel and figure it is about time to learn to do my own cleaning each off season. I am looking forward to finding good info on this site as I read thru the various posts for a few days. Cheers Casey!
