I'm looking for a replacement star drag for a Newell 550. Anyone know who sells parts?
Most people are hoarding Newell parts. I know nothing about 500 series, I quit at the 400 series.
Bluefish is right. Newell parts are harder to come by than platinum. I suggest you call around to tackle shops in your area and hope to get lucky.
Might try to contact some of the Newell parts dealers on Ebay...
They sometimes have junk reels around they can scavenge parts from...????
Go to Bloodydecks or Allcoast forums and look up Reelman. If anyone has any Newell parts, he would be the one.
