Title: Anyone happily using talica 16?
Post by: Jelle on September 03, 2012, 02:01:34 AM
Hey guys,

I've only ever used 1 overhead reel, the shimano tld15. I own 2 of them and they've been good to me, but it's time to beef things up a little. I know somebody selling two talica 16's. Unused for 350AUD each. Seems like a good deal to me, but I have no idea about their performance. I've already read a thing or two about bearing issues, but I don't think I will be pushing these reels to their utmost limit. Main use would be spanish mackerel, tuna up to 20kg and maybe small billies.

Any opinions?

Many thanks,

Jelle

Thanks Alan. Somebody's just beat me to it and got them from right under my nose, so that closes the debate for now.. :)
