Title: Yamalube
Post by: Jaredbolen on September 24, 2012, 08:40:02 PM
What's the difference in blue grease and red grease. Bought a tub of yamalube from local boat dealer, got it home and upon opening it, it's red?

Red is probably the wheel bearing grease, and not the one Alan is Using.  Sorry.

G'day Jared,
Bryan's spot on.
I believe they're both lithium based, but the blue is specifically for marine applications.

not necessarily.  you can use pretty much any grease you want.  the important thing is to use something, anything.  using nothing is what gets guys into trouble.  the marine stuff is best, but i wouldn't worry too much about using this product.   :-\
