Title: First time spinning
Post by: spes on September 30, 2012, 12:15:52 PM
Hello,
I have a couple of spinning reels I'd like to take a shot at servicing.
I have a Daiwa ECP 6000
and an Okuma Epixor EF 80
I have the schematics,
Any tutorials come to mind that would be similar?

Do people leave bearings "open" as in conventional reel bearings?

Tks,

The bearings on the spinning reels should be packed and resealed. The front drag spinners are easy to service - give it a shot.

i like to have the bearings shielded and packed with grease.
