Thanks for sharing. Very nice fishingtrip!
Nice pics, a friend of mine just left for Tanzania today with tree Stellas that I gave a major overhaul. It seems as Popping trashes even Stellas quite easy.
Great pictures. Thanks for sharing. Maybe no "monsters", but those are quality fish.

I think this is a desent Trevally, Trevallys of this size are not so common anymore due to overfishing.

Great pictures and fish. Thanks,

Hi killerbug any reel can be wasted with sea fish like gts n doggies and with speed jiggig... i had no issues this time with the reels but the 4000 dsnt feel the same as new.... those are small gts for tz standards i lost big ones and another group got a 35kg on popping but you have to go far for the big ones

i use one stella 5000sw, 1 2001 saltiga 4000, 1 saltiga 4500 with som kit, 1 saltiga s extreme 4500, we also had 3 6500 size saltigas (older models s extreme, exp and som) dint use them much apart on the deep jigging to see if there were any fish at 240 meters.
hi justin thanks yeah africa is quite amazing but i think fishing wise the islands off the south pacific cant be beaten,
Hello Dominick how do you do sir? thanks hopefully i can convert the lady to fishing as well within good time, Haha no i dint swim with the hippos i found it hard to belive those things can live in salt water as we saw them in the waterway that is salt water for 30-40kms inside and the spot we saw them is like just 10-15mins from the lodge.
i enjoyed these,good stuff,congrats!
nice! thanks for sharing...
thanks for the fine post. :)

Thanks, how do the Stella IYO compare to the Saltigas?
killerburg h0nestly speaking stella is much sm00ther but the 5ksw is unc0mf0rtable t0 jig with as its g0t a small arm n i dint find any upgrade f0r the 5000sw while all the saltigas had s0m and jm p0wer arm that are very c0mf0rtable t0 jig with but my next reels i buy are g0ing t0 be the larger stellas n put aftermarket p0werarms 0n them, speaking 0f sm00thness even s0 all the saltiga have updated drags it n0t as sm00th as stella, but 0ver0ll i was happy with them as they are quite rugged reels
