OK..I have a question concerning certain spinning reels....
The ones I have encountered so far are the Spheros and some Okuma spinning reels.
It seems that to properly service the drags, the spool face has to be removed. If the reel is full of braid it is going to go everywhere. Sometimes mono will stay in place....but for the most part it gets pinned under the spool face when re-assembled.
Do you warn your customers ahead of time to strip the reel?
Do you use a line stripper and remove and re-install the line?
Just want to get a feel for how to handle the problem.

yeah, if the top has to come off, then the line always goes "sproing!!" it's gotta be peeled off and then the reel has to be respooled when you're done. not my favorite design. :-\
