Title: Butterscotch Biscuits

Butterscotch Biscuits
I like this recipe on cold mornings with a cup of strong coffee.
Biscuits:
3 Cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter
2 eggs beaten
½ cup milk
Filling:
4 tablespoons melted butter
4 tablespoons corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar

•   Mix all dry ingredients, cut in butter, then add milk and eggs, let sit while you make the filling
•   Mix all filling ingredients heating slightly to ensure a good mix
•   Roll biscuit dough out to about ½" on well-floured board, smear a good layer of the filling on top
•   Pour remaining butterscotch into an 8x10 baking dish
•   Roll the whole thing up into a jellyroll shape, and cut into ½"- 3/4" slices, and place the slices on top of the butterscotch, in a puzzle fashion, doesn't matter if they touch

•   Bake in a 375 degree oven for approx. 25 minutes, immediately turn out on a dish, turning the whole thing upside down so the butterscotch runs back over the biscuits...BE CAREFUL!!! EXTREMELY HOT AND WILL CAUSE SEVERE BURNS!!!
•   Let it sit for a couple minutes to set then serve warm with a good cup of coffee (Always wondered if anyone ever served a BAD cup of coffee on purpose???)
•   Add cinnamon and chopped walnuts to add another dimension
