Title: Alphas spools

I am selling a 103 alpha spool and the buyer wants to use it on a Type R ,he says they are different so are they interchangeable ?

I have an Alpha - they're Australian made and the brand goes back about 100 years.
Plugbar, does it look anything like the below?

Sorry fellas I should have made my self a bit clearer, it is a Daiwa  Alphas
