Hi everyone my name is Robert...This site is wonderful! Wealth of knowledge in here and I'm glad I found this site. Long time lurker and finally decided to sign up. Well I started cleaning my own reels for about 6 months now. And at the moment I've taken apart and cleaned all 13 of my reels lol. Its just too hard not to open since there's tutorials on almost all them.
Welcome Robert! Enjoy your stay. Keep opening those reels up and when you're all done, get some more ;).
Sal
Aloha Robert. It's always nice to hear a lurker becoming their own reel service tech. Welcome. The reel world awaits.

Welcome, Robert!
Have we been Rob'd?
it's really addicting, once you get started. welcome!
Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! Yes, I've become a reel maniac. Funny you mentioned that Alto, I just picked up a saltiga SA20 and took it apart, haha. I think I've found my favorite reel, old Saltigas. Just adding to my reel colection.
Welcome from Corona soon to be from NorCal..
Welcome, whats the story behind the kingie in your profile picture?
That's a nice yellowtail not a kingfish ;D
Haha...Yes its a yellowtail. I got into kayak fishing about 4 years ago and fell in love. Just can't get enough of it now. I fight is just unbelievable from a kayak! You get towed around and feels like a sleigh ride.
They look just like our kingfish, just a different name in different countries?
This is the first one I got on my baja special

Looks like yours.
I think your right, not really sure why they have different names for them. But I think kingfishes get bigger than our yellowtail.
