Title: Handle Assembly 50TW Penn
Post by: Marlinmate on January 05, 2013, 07:26:29 PM
Just picked up a new molded Tbar handle to replace a beat up 50TW Penn handle.  What I want to verify is this:

1. There should be a metal washer on each side of the handle blank like shown in the pic
2. the Round pieces (one inside the other) in the bottom of the picture serve what purpose? To act as a shim if the hole is drilled too big?  Are these pieces necessary or only used if needed?

Thanks for the help

You will need the washer on top, if the hole is larger than the shaft, you will need the one at the bottom also.
Use medium strength loctite when mounting the knob. I never use the lower washer, if the shaft fits in the hole nice and snug.
