Title: Penn Dog Interchange
Post by: Ken_D on January 22, 2013, 10:24:17 PM
If this has come up prior, I could not see it, but a repeat never really hurts.  Today I did my very first Penn 60.
Reels in this fishery are normally 330, 340, and the odd 109/209/309.

The reel was missing the anti-reverse dog and the wee coil spring. The spring I have, but no 15-99 dogs for a 60.
Having never even seen one, I could not/did not know the profile, length, etc.

I have dogs for the 109, 209, and 309. I tried the 1 and 2 first, too short. The 15-309 dog appears to be a drop-in, and is working just fine.

The 15-309 is about 3/32" longer and a bit taller than the 15-99.
