Title: tg 30 and tg50 maintenance question
Post by: threejs on January 29, 2013, 04:30:59 PM
I bought the reels on ebay two years ago without doing my homework. they have been pretty good except a handle bent badly on one of them. I bent it back and it's been ok, is there an upgraded handle available? should I swap out the drag washers? I cannot get the handle nut off of the tg50. is there a trick to this? I'm new to the forum. Looks like losts of great info!!! Thanks, John

Sorry John, I haven't seen one of these reels yet.  I'm sure someone here has though.

The handle nut on my 30 2 speed is a left hand thread. You should be able to follow Alan's TS50II tutorial, essentially the same reel.

you should already have carbon fiber drag washers in them already.  here is the titus gold 15 II post.  it would cover the other reels.
