I just purchased a Penn Torque 5'8" butterfly jigging rod.  I have several Avet LX reels in my arsenal now.  I am trying to decide if I should use one of these for jigging or purchase a Shimano Trinidad 30.  I plan to spool the reel with 80lb braid.  In your opinion, which one will hold up to the abuse and do you know real world max drag settings for these reels?

louis, if you can install a spring loaded dog in the trinidad, the two reels will be equal!
