I know this doesnt have much to do with fishing, but I have fished in Blythe, Ca and while traveling the 10 Fwy from Ontario International Airport to Blythe, I've passed this museum multiple times....finally stopped and for those that are WWI, WWII buffs, a well worth stop....

very cool! ;D
There was a welding shop about 2 miles from my house that had one of those "ducks" sitting behind it for a long time. It had a weird paint job and something about tours written on it. I wish I had taken a pic. It was for sale and must have finally sold or was scrapped. They are neat but not very fast or practical. It didn't look like something I'd want to ride in any kind of seas. We need more soldiers like him and less politicians wearing military uniforms.
I HAVE WATCHED THE MOVIE WITH GEORGE C SCOTT A BUNCH OF TIMES. NEED MORE LIKE HIM.
I've never served in the military, but have spent a great deal of time in LE, there's an old saying we have, "I'd run into a brick wall for that man" Patton sure qualifies for that!
Cool that they included his bull terrier in the statue too, does anyone know if Chesty Puller has something similar?
I grew up in Cucamonga and have been their a few times. My grandfather ran into him in WWII. One of his favorite stories.
What on earth are you doing in blythe?
Ron
The state has a couple of "installations" there and they are on my assignment list......I worked at the "installations" in Chino and the women's "installation" between Chino and Norco.......Now in HQ (Sac) and they put Blythe on my assignment list. Which came with my favorite road sign. ;D
