it all started because someone else has "alantani" on youtube. i started looking at video hosting on this website. i needed access to the php files and went to my hosting service to see if i could find it. like a dummy, i decided to click on the automatic update service and it "updated" this board to a 1 year old version of the simple machines software. what a mess. sorry for all the down time. i'm just glad i didn't loose any data. um, at least i think i didn't.
so if you guys see a post with a big chunk missing, can you let me know? thanks! alan

You would not believe how much business I get from people that hit
that "instant update" button. Just say no to software udates for your
primary CPU.... test it on another machine first.
