Title: penn 420ss not 430ss

hi irish jigger
i got shafted again,thanks tom
the ss shaft and other bits arrived today
penn 420ss is a goer
loaded it with 6lb fluoro and
its to battle we go

Would rather your reel got shafted than you Wallace ;D

just an update on the 420ss shaft
what looks like a spear head on
the end of the ss shaft was rusted on.
soaked it in acetone,
shaft in vice
depress the release button
hammered the cog
sry no pic
cleaned it up and its good to go.
couldnt figure it out until i
pulled the new one to bits.

Well done Wallace, now you have a spare set.   Why do you guys always have to pull new reels and spares to bits? ;D
