I am in need of a new avet lx 2 speed right side main plate. the outer bearing raceway is completely stuck and it needs replacement I think. I have emailed avet several times but no answer regarding cost shipping etc. anyone know how much a sideplate is?

The Avet website has an area to use for ordering parts. If you order that way, Avet will respond quickly; a generic e-mail to Avet will likely receive no response...
try this. take the cutting wheel of a dremmel and cut two slots into the top of the outer race at opposite sides. you will cut a little into the side plate, but that's ok. then find a "screwdriver" blade that is wide enough to turn the race just like it was the head of a screw. add a little oil and keep turning it. you will eventually loosen it up enough that you can pry it out. this will work! it's the same thing you do for bearings that are stuck in these small penn and newell bearings cups.
