Title: Clicker Adjustments??
Post by: evanb84 on April 29, 2013, 01:41:26 PM
I have a squall 12 and a gti310 is there anyway to lighten the clicker on these reels? It takes a good amount of pull to get the clicker going on them.
thanks!
Evan

here is the schematic for the squall https://www.mysticparts.com/Assets/images/pennparts/schematics/sql12.pdf (https://www.mysticparts.com/Assets/images/pennparts/schematics/sql12.pdf)

and for the 31 gti.  https://www.mysticparts.com/Assets/images/pennparts/schematics/310gt.pdf

there are two clicker springs (key #62a).  you would literally have to go in and cut a coil off the springs. i've never done this before, so i do not know what the results would be.  i would order 2-3 sets of extra springs from mysticparts.com before you start cutting, in case you cut too much.

The Springs came in for the squall and 310 both were super easy to cut.  Only took one try to get them where I needed them to be.
Thanks again for the help!
