Hey Everyone,
First post, I would like to first say Alan Tani, you are the man! You have no idea how helpful your posts, tutorials, reviews, etc. really are! When I even think about buying a new reel I almost wonder what does Alan Tani think about this reel. I also want to thank everyone on this website offering their knowledge too, great information can be found all over this forum! I've always read in the background and this is the first time I ever needed to post.
I have a saltist 6500 the line roller bearing and all the stuff around it froze up so bad when I tried to loosen the screw on the bail arm the screw head twisted right off. Anyways, I need all the parts in that assembly, I tried mikes, daves, and tunas, none have those parts available on the website. I guess I should call to confirm or is there another place someone here can recommend to get Daiwa Saltist 6500 parts?
Thanks,
Joey

welcome, joey, and thank you, but there are alot of great people that contribute to this site!  spinning reel parts are hard.  usually i'd jut recommend contacting daiwa directly for these.  hopefully everything is still in inventory.  spinners go out of date so fast!!!!

				Hi Joey,
Maybe too late, but here it is, (I need bail assy 6500H too ... and for a Freams 4000, and ... a lot of spares!  ;D),
Mike's p/n is: H36-5301 - BAIL ASSY. Not easy to find, also I haven't found the schema at his web ...
Hope this help.
Hi Alan!, I can not find in Daiwa (in any Daiwa sites, EU, USA, AU, etc) a direct store web for ordering spare parts (like shimano usa). :(
I'm in EU, and probably, if exists, sure they don't ship to EU or spare parts (most of my reels are USA models). :(
I only find a "REPAIR REQUEST FORM" ...
http://www.daiwa.com/Service/ServiceRequestForm.pdf
Anybody knows any other direct good web for ordering Daiwa spares ¿?

The bails on the Saltists are only soldered on and break easily. That's all that kept me from getting one......
