Title: PENN Stars
Post by: basto on May 09, 2013, 11:01:42 AM
My PENN Torque and my Baja 113hn share the same star wheel part number. It is a powder coated stainless steel star wheel.
I have found that the black powder coating has stratched off quite easily after a couple of trips.
After the black has been damaged, the rust can start underneath it, so I took the black off with some paint stripper and can now keep the wheels clean.
Personally, I like the new look better too.
Here are some before and after pics.

OOPS!! Sorry about that. Looks like the "after" pics got posted first. Is there a symbol for red face?

Nice! Personally I like stainless steel to be unpainted, so this is a big improvement in my book.
