Title: Replacing Big Honkin Freespool Lever Screw.
Post by: gstours on May 17, 2013, 08:26:35 PM
 >:( Does anyone know of other screws that fit the freespool lever on the 113 s's???? other than the one that looks like a hex head nut,!!!!Seems like someone else has done this before and Penn makes a lot of models.

I'd just like a simple oval head slotted screw...... and don't want a zirk fitting on the end like a backhoe!!!!      thanks    gstours

gstours,
You may also have to change the eccentric.  They aren't interchangeable between many models, but I was able to swap the eccentrics and bolt/screw between an 85 and a jigmaster and it worked.  I have a Chinese jigmaster that has a bolt without the zirk fitting, so they must be available somewhere.  However, it is still a bolt, not a screw. :(  If you want something really large and gnarly, install a 23-60 handle bolt on the lever. ;)  Yes, it will fit, too!
