Title: Okuma Solterra reels: frame failures?

Graphite frames, so I'm assuming that's showing up. I saw the one report from Italy where he lost a big tuna. Any others?

Yes, for tuna it's hard to dispute that a metal frame is essential. I think this is the reel that Okuma says has "stainless steel braces" in the frame. I'm thinking of one for bottom fishing for big grouper, amberjacks, etc.

I like the two speed reels, but I'm priced out of that market.
