Title: 980 Mag Power SS Gear Sleeve

Hello everyone,

Is there a stainless steel gear sleeve for a Mag Power 980? If so, can someone post the link to it? I also lost my dog spring :( but I am ordering one from Pennparts right now. Is it possible to double dog this reel?

I got the replacement Dog Spring from Scott's Bait & Tackle and installed it into my 980. My Mag Power is back in business and all nice and corrosion free. Just wanted to share that with you guys.
