New to the site as a member, but ive been a faithful follower for a while now. Want to say thanks to Alan for what he has done here. What started as a wild goose chase to fix the first Jigmaster i ever owned (which a "friend" returned to me in less than working condition) turned into a hobby and a collection of upgraded, American made reels which I am proud to fish and own. 505hs: tiburon frame and handle, 9860 ss gear sleeve, 113 hard spacer and 6-60 carbon drag stack. 1958 500: tiburon narrow spool conversion and handle, all stainless internals excepting the dogbone, 113 spacer and 6-60 drag stack. Longbeach 66 which was in such pristine condition, i restored it with all original parts, some Cal's, a little WD, elbow grease, and the 113 carbon washer kit (i couldnt resist a slight upgrade) of which i was able to fit a 4 washer stack and get some decent drag going. Thanks again Alan, youre the man!!
