Title: shimano stradic 2500 Mg
Post by: azfishguy on June 02, 2013, 07:23:15 PM
Guys,
I've recently acquired a box of older shimano spinning reels that I'd like to make usable. I'm looking for the handle assembly to the stradic 2500 Mg spinning reel and the handle assembly to the stradic 2500 FH. Would the handle assembly from a different year and model possibly work? If anyone has either of these handles available please contact me. Many thanks

The reel parts #'s are as follows...
rd 7490 anti reverse lever for Mg
rd 7492 handle assembly for Mg
rd 7876 handle assembly for the 2500 FH.
Any help with these would be greatly appreciated.

I was unable to locate the original parts but found handle assemblies from other reels that fit. I guess different models in the same size built around the same time are compatible...that or I was just very lucky.
