IV heard drum fishing is great during storms but have never fished during one. The next few days we are going to be hit by this tropical storm and was wondering what y'all's take is on fishing it for drum.
I find stormy weather to be some of the finest fishing. Low pressure comes in spurring feeding. Winds push bait into shore. Snook fishing is phenomenal for me when we get skirted by a tropical low. Andrea just slipped by dumping 6 inches of rain here. Pipes are flowing, runoff rushing, weirs overflowing, fishing is hot. But as soon as the high pressure sits in it will shut down for at least 2 days.
