Title: Senators
Post by: Shark Hunter on June 10, 2013, 01:15:29 AM
I managed to finally get a little time in the garage today. Here are a couple of my senators. 16,14,12,9,6 and 4/0. A really nice super mariner and long beach. A little 209 takes up the rear.(http://i1300.photobucket.com/albums/ag93/darondyer/senators_zpsb58d9332.jpg)

Nice selection SH - love the big Senators.
Looks like a third-gen SS spinner in there too ;)
Thanks for sharing.

WHAT, NO 10/0! :o ;)

Nice collection.  I LIKE Senators.  Considering winching power, size/weight, and line capacity, do you have a particular favorite for shark fishing?

The only Marking on the grey spinner is on top of the spool. It says roddy.

I have the 10/0 mounted to a roller rod. These are just some of my back up reels. So far my favorite is a 12/0 for Shark Fishing. The 14 and 16 are so darn Heavy!

See the barnacles on the spool? I picked this out of the surf a couple years back after a hurricane. she still works, just need a new bail spring. Its a 4500 ss.
