Good to hear from the right side of the pond...welcome from the Sacramento Delta
Welcome....I too fish from a kayak. Make sure to grease all your bearings specially on avets fishing from a kayak, they don't like constant salt water abuse. I learned my lesson the hard way.
Welcome aboard AvetfanUK.
Thansk for the warm welcome Guys, And thanks for taking the time to dig those Avet posts out. So, Ive bought some Cals Light, And ive bought some Oust bearing oil
Could you please tell me a good brand of Marine grease that i could use please? When i strip me old Mitchell 300`s i just pack them full of general Silicon grease but i want to put the correct grease into my lovely, lovely Avets!
Any advise welcome
Thanks Chaps! ;)

Welcome,

AvetfanUK, You can use the Cal's anywhere in the reel. Most people here use a good marine grease because it costs less than Cal's. I didn't get tags this year. If I had, I would have tried for the big one we didn't get last year. He was much bigger. Bob
Perfect, Thanks Bob thats exactly what i needed to hear
As for tags, well i only know what they are as we get "Swamp people" over here and i watch it now and again, Ive also been to Florida a couple of times and had "Gator balls" which i liked
Chooooot it, Chooooooooot it i believe thats what he says when he gets one:)
