Hi Alan, Here is a bearing puller That I came up with some time ago,
It works on penn ss series & the z series well.Sometimes the sealed
bearing is stuck so you find a spacer,large enough to fit outside diameter
of the bearing. in this case an old hose clamp worked well along with a variety
of washers You thread the rotor nut against the washer as the bearing starts to
pull out sometimes you have to add more washers,as you run out of thread on the
pinion gear. The pinion gear forces that stubborn old bearing out.
