Title: Daiwa vs Duel
Post by: turboal on February 23, 2010, 07:41:06 PM
Alan, I have a chance to buy a Daiwa Sealine Tournament SLT-50
and a Duel 50w. They both look good on paper. The Duel has a
dual carbonex drag system. pros and cons on them would be
helpful to make a choose.

i've not had good experiences with the daiwa lever drags.  i've also not any experiences at all with duel.  personally, i'd rather see you stick with something else.   :-\

I would love to see the inners of Duel reels.  I found them popular in certain markets and seem to hold their own.  I think there are limited distribution in the US, which makes parts hunting difficult.  Good luck, and if you do pick-up a duel, would you mind opening it up and snap a few pics?
