Title: Dupont Krytox grease v ZPI F-0 grease v SOM grease
Post by: thedw on July 31, 2013, 08:47:19 AM
Hi guys has anyone used the above mentioned greases?
All  are expensive and I am wondering if its worth it compared to carls/shimano.

Krytox is teflon based and so is Studio Ocean Mark (100% they claim) but as for ZPI i aint sure!

Advice?

Oh and as for SiC bearings by ZPI whats the feedback on em?

thks!

I have used it for about 6 months now. Actually I have used the GPL224. It has any an anti-corrosive agent in it. I like it, it goes on better than anything else I have used and does real good quieting gears down and filling any slack and it sticks/stays put. I use only as much as I need given the cost and only put it on my own reels. I think though it is overkill. Its like putting gold screws on reel where stainless does the same job.
