Post by: handi2 on August 12, 2013, 11:29:22 PM
Hello,

I have this reel Penn #80 direct drive with a black wooden handle. Can anyone give me any info on this reel such as date's ect...? It was brought in with other reels to service and I told him to leave it "as is".

MysticParts says the 80 conventional was manufactured from before 1941 until the mid 50's.  It's the same size as the 85 Seaboy, but without the drag washers.
