i like the first link , looks easier to make too!
I am still old school when it comes to packing bearings. I still pack most by hand except the bearings that don't have retaining clips on the shields. It seems like a nice packer. Different concept, but the only drawback is that it doesn't accomodate a wide range of bearing sizes.
Looks like you could make it with a drill press. I like it.

Very good. I dint like the secind one much because I don't like putting any perpendicular forces on my bearings.
me too! i like the first one best!! pretty nifty!
what do you say about makin some alan?
tom hryniuk just brough over 50 sets last night. now i have to order up the needles and the adaptor. already got 20 guys that want them. they have been back ordered for quite a while, now.
cool!

Alan,
What would the price be if I already bought the needles and adapters?
Ron
just $5 less. there is not much of a mark up.
Hi Alan,

thks!
Is the mini bearing packer available yet Alan?

very cool!

Hi Alan, any of the bearing packers available?
That first video is a really cool idea. All I have to do now is ask a friend at the machining shop to make one for me hehehe
