Title: 98-505 into a surfmaster 100
Post by: twopatch on September 11, 2013, 03:08:47 AM
Years ago ,Alan had a small run of fine threaded squidder gear sleeves. I ended up with 2 of them. I love them, but they are not being made anymore.  Fast forward to last month I was ,makeing a 100,out of a 180,and a 200.  I was seeing If a jigmaster sleeve, would fit? It did.  But the dog was too big? No problem, lets see if this 155 dog works? It does!   I just put everything together with the 98-505 that just came in the mail.and everything looks real good.hope to test it out this fri-sat.

Yes, the98-505 & 98-60AT has a larger ratchet than the 98-155AT. Good thinking on trimming the dog ;).
Try to take pictures when you do stuff like that and post them.

Sal, No trimming envolved. I just replaced the #200 dog, with a #155 dog. I know that photo's make for a nice post,  but my last camera, never worked after it dried out!  Maybe after the tuna leave,I can stop buying gasoline, and get a new camera. :)
