In order to take off second, sliding guides, which I hate. I had to remove top ones first. And as a result after putting - gluing them back, I find that there is tiny but present gap between the rod and guide wall at the end. So I applied some cotton soaked in lacquer to prevent any possible water intrusion.
Btw I also shortened the last tip section of the rod for about 15 % so that it makes more logical curve with that second guide taken out.
