ok angelenos or anyone. i am looking for a machine shop that can make the RS spool bearing cup diameter larger.  SOS!!!! thanks much...

On what brand of reel?? I know what I do on Newell's, just take a dramel & grind the inside bigger.

How much do you need ? If it's just a little, you could probably make it work by using a drill.
Some of my Newell spool shafts are a little larger than Penn's, when I try to remove the spool from the reel at times it won't budge, the shaft  gets jammed in the bushing.
If that's the case, spin the spool on a drill, holding the other end of the shaft in some 600 grid sandpaper and finish with fine ss wool.  That should do it, it works for me.
