Title: Bearing and Spool Shaft Shims and Spacers
Post by: bigreddog on October 25, 2013, 03:37:54 PM
Does anyone have a source for shims and spacers?  I am always tinkering with lever drags to increase free spool but having problems sourcing materials.  Lately I have been buying stainless finish washers, pounding them flat, and machining them myself, not fun or pretty.

My father was telling me they make some kind of ss shim material that you can Peel and trim to fit the radius and thickness that you need .he is looking in to it for me and I will post something when I find out.

here is what I use for the 113h: part# 90902A221, 3/8"ID, 5/8"OD
these are not a perfect fit, but there is no need to be, they will still work.
For the Jigmaster, measure the bottom of the post and see what comes close to it, again, it doesn't need to be a perfect fit.
