Title: Diawa 7000C - anti-reversing cam

Can anyone tell me how to free up a stuck anti-reversing cam on a Diawa 7000C reel; I have ordered new parts but cannot free up the old lever to remove it; I have been gentle so far; I do not want to break the reel body. Thanks for your help.
