OMG those were good at deer camp the other day.

Probably depends on the age of the man. At my age bacon sounds mighty good!! ;)
I am batching it this week so I made some bacon cakes and they were great.
Another hunting camp variation for pancakes is to add some drained, crushed pineapple to the mix. Always gets raves. ;D

In my younger days, I craved bacon and could eat it every day. Now, I still like it but not as much as before. Maybe something has changed about it. As for the other stuff, I'm told this is a family forum...

I like bacon but if I eat 1 piece I would taste it all day. On the boat it would bring the pasengers into the galley to check it out.
