Title: Drag Washer Lubrication Question

sorry if this is a stupid question, but should Smoooth Drag "Smooothies" be lubricated with Cal's upon installation?

I spoke with Dawn regarding lube/don't lube the "Smoothies".  She said either way is fine but the majority of those installing "Smoothies" lube them with Cal's.
