That was awesome!  My favorite fish, hands down.  These guys rocket at the bait from astern but often turn right at the point of impact.  They also like to hit right on the eye/head area.  'High-speed precision' at its finest.   :)

Thanks for sharing the vid.

Well,
Something really cool is going to have to happen today to top that five minutes!
I'd like to see how he did that.

pretty gutsy hanging a $200-300 camera out on a line like that!

Its a contour roam in a custom housing I made for it from aluminum and 4" thick plexiglass. I troll it on 300lb spectra with a 275lb steel leader before the camera and between the camera and lure.

figured it was a heavy rig.  the only way you could loose something like that would be getting sawed through by another line.

Good eyes Salty!

It took me a few times watching before I saw the-man-in-the-grey-suit.

Bula Erik:  I did see the flash of the shark the first time I looked at the video, but I thought it was just a random shadow.  I was able to stop the action at 2:58 but I flunked shark in high school, so I don't know what kind it is.  Anybody recognize it?  Common Daron, Bunnlevel, Cone, let's hear from you.
