Title: aji king - just a few photos

it's an avet sx copy, and not a very good one at that.

here's the frame.

side plate.

the spool with a funky looking drag washer.

here's the aji king drag washer next to an avet sx drag washer.

the reel is such a close copy of the avet sx that the avet sx drag washer fits perfectly.  so now you have an aji king with open spool bearings, side plate and pressure plate bearing that are packed with grease, and a greased carbon fiber drag washer.  since there are no detents in the lever arm or cam, you'll still have to guess where "strike" is.

it looks like they've dramatically improved the fit and finish.

Alan,

I've got one of this Ajiking Pro Jigger, and mine comes with the same funky drag material.
Do you sell those exact size carbon fibre washers?

If yes, let me know the cost for two pieces, and the economy postage to Malaysia.

Thanks...

the manufacturer should have one.  if not, get me the dimensions and i can send you an avet drag washer.  let's hope it fits.

Alan,

So far, have no news from the manufacturer. I'll wait a couple of days...

I presume from your pictures it will the same exact dimension as the avet's. I dont have the calipers to measure...will measurement using a ruler suffice?

lastly, do you think i can apply i fine coat of cal's grease on the existing funky drag without losing much drag power?

a ruler with millimeters should suffice.  it should be an exact match.
